Thing #18 - Tag something on a web 2.0 service

I had some fun adding tags to photographs in the Library of Congress flickr collection. It will be interesting to see the outcome of this public tagging exercise - will the contributions of tags by many make the images easier to find than an LC controlled vocabulary scheme? This was a different experience from the tagging I had done previously (on del.icio.us, YouTube, flickr, LibraryThing) because these were not my "things" (bookmarks/videos/pictures/books). Somehow it felt a little odd, almost as if I was trespassing on someone else's "things" ...
